The first part of the year is a good time to talk about goal setting. Zig Ziglar (I have been a student of his for years) once said "With goals, you are a meaningful specific. Without goals, you are a wandering generality". I've heard it said that in order to be effective, your goals must be your own, they must be in writing, they must be attainable, but must push yourself reasonably. Zig also said " It's better to set a high goal and miss it than to set a low goal and hit it". Your goals can be for a year off, but can be broken down into months or a quarter. This way, it makes it easier to track your progress. Whether your goal is business, weight loss, improving a relationship or getting healthier with exercise, maybe, stopping a bad habit. It will help you improve your life and that is something that we all want!
